Since Feb. 2000, Matala Water Technology Co., Ltd. innovate and manufacture the Matala filter media, today, this filter media has been installed in applcations of filtration in the following fields in more than 40 countries:
- wastewater biological treatment process
- 2nd and 3rd sewage treatment plants
- Aquaculture high density recirculation systems
- Pond mechanical and biological filtration systems.
- Trickling filters for winery wastewater treatment
- Biotower for air scrubbing
In Aug. 2008, in response to the severe drought and water usage restriction in Australia our founder Mr. Marc Talloen established Matala Water Technology (Australia) Pty Ltd with the single goal of R&D towards Aqua2use Greywater reuse solutions. Besides the production of progressive filter media, Matala Water Technogoy Co., Ltd. has also in-house development/design/production of the filtration equipments such as UV Disinfection systems, aeration systems exported worldwide since 2002.
